About

Jams Booking was created around 2005 by Adam Toomey, It was a company made when “Empty Toy Box,” shut down. Now, five years later its just Nick Mitcham, booking shows for all different musical genres.

Jams Booking shows have been posted all over the nation in Alternative Press Magazine, AMP, Substream, Ap.net, Lambgoat.com, Metro Spirit, HD98.3 and many other websites, magazines through the year. Some of the bigger acts we’ve brought in consist of: Boys Like Girls, All Time Low, We The Kings, Forever the Sickest Kids, Job For A Cowboy, The Maine, NeverShoutNever, A Day To Remember, The Devil Wears Prada and Mayday Parade.
With 2010 on the horizon the group shows no signs of slowing down, with offers on the table for up to August 2010, and bands that are nothing short of, “impressive.”
Staff commented and said, “As a kid my parents would talk about how the “Civic Center,” would have shows every other week with Motley Crue, Quiet Riot, Judas Priest, Kansas, ect. They said the shows were sold out and had nothing but great things to say about how fun it was to be apart of such events during that time, really makes me jealous that now our town has a handful of shows a year that are all ages. I give props to the other promoters sticking their neck out there to bring in artists, but I’m really trying to go my own route, and bring in bands that would other wise just pass right on by Augusta, and hit Atlanta, Columbia or another city on the way to their next destination. We have a dedicated scene that I’ve been fortunate enough to gain the support of for the past 5-6 years. Thanks to everyone whose bought a ticket, told a friend, or helped me in anyway.”  –  Nick
